While it’s hardly a perfect game at times, there’s no doubting that Pokemon GO has firmly established itself as an experiment that evolved into a major success.

As October draws to a close, many Pokemon GO players are beginning to look towards what the game will offer for the month of November. For October’s Research Breakthrough, Pokemon GO really leaned into the spooky festivities by giving players the chance to encounter Yamask, and November will be maintaining a similar theme of darkness. From November 1, 1 p.m. PST to December 1, 1 p.m. PST, players will be able obtain the Dark/Flying type Vullaby from Field Research Breakthrough rewards. This should be a big relief for players that haven’t had the patience to get Vullaby from 12 KM eggs, and it will certainly help those trying to fill out their Gen 5 Pokedex.

One of the main things to look forward to with each new month in Pokemon GO is Community Day, and November’s looks like it really could be something special. On November 21, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, players will be able to catch a Shinx, with a chance to encounter a Shiny Shinx in the wild. If players are able to evolve Shinx into Luxio during or soon after the event, once they evolve it to Luxray the Pokemon will learn a new move called Psychic Fangs. There will also be an assortment of new Research, so November’s Community Day should be a busy one for many players.

Other Pokemon GO November 2021 Events

Between all of the new Raids and Research, Pokemon GO will also have other events to round out the month and give players something to look forward to each day. From November 1-2 there will be a Dia de Muertos event, then from November 5-14, there will be a Festival of Lights event. Towards the end of November, Pokemon GO will be celebrating the release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl with a special event, and in the very last week there will be a Special Research story for those who completed the Misunderstood Mischief Research.
