Pokemon GO’s forty-third Community Day is set to occur on July 3, and it will focus on the lovable Tepig. Indeed, players will be able to enjoy an increased spawn rate for this Unova starter throughout the event, and there is even a new Special Research for fans to work on. This Special Research is dubbed “Roasted Berries,” and Pokemon GO players can find full details on its tasks and rewards in what follows.

Before getting into the specifics of these tasks and rewards, it is important to take a moment to clarify that PoGO’s Tepig Community Day Special Research will only be accessible to fans that purchase the related ticket. That ticket costs $1, and players that complete all of the Roasted Berries tasks will get quite a lot of value out of their investment. Rewards: 2,500 XP, 1 Rocket Radar, 15 Ultra Balls

Stage 4

• Claim Reward (2 Silver Pinap Berries)
• Claim Reward (Tepig Encounter)
• Claim Reward (3,500 XP)

Rewards: 3,000 Stardust, Emboar Encounter, 2 Rare Candy

As many players are sure to expect, a number of the Roasted Berries tasks and rewards center around Tepig and its various evolutions. More specifically, Pokemon GO fans will be catching and evolving numerous Tepigs as they work on this Special Research, and they will even need to evolve a Pignite at a certain point. Notably, any Pignites that are evolved during the Community Day will produce an Emboar with an exclusive move (Blast Burn), providing even more incentive to perform the transformation.

One final thing to mention about the July 2021 Community Day is that it will mark the debut of Shiny Tepig, Pignite, and Emboar. While certainly not every trainer will obtain one of these special variants during the event, the improved spawn rate and Special Research makes it quite a bit more likely that a fan will encounter one.
