If you’re partaking in the Safari Liverpool event, then we highly recommend taking the time to track down a Relicanth, because it’s usually regionally exclusive to New Zealand and the surrounding islands, and the Unowns.

April 2022 introduces the Silent Schemes event, which requires learning new Leader counters and Giovanni counters. Elsewhere, we’ve recently seen new Ditto disguises as part of the Season of Alola, which also introduced An Akala Adventure and more Gen 7 Pokémon including Fomantis and Tapu Lele. Elsewhere, off the back of the Go Tour Johto event is Masterwork Research Apex to complete.

Safari Liverpool field research in Pokémon Go explained

By spinning PokéStops during the Safari Liverpool event, ticket holders may collect event-exclusive field research tasks. These tasks can be saved and completed once the event ends, but they only be collected during Safari Liverpool itself.

It’s important to note that, since the 2021 Halloween event is currently running, you may collect research connected to that event instead. This means, if you’re after a specific Safari Liverpool field research task, you may have to try a number of PokéStops to find it.
