April Fools is here and Pokemon GO’s latest event celebrating the day is live now. This April Fools-themed event honors the Pokemon that are known to be pranksters and tricksters. These Pokemon include Aipom, Croagunk, Foongus, Gastly, Haunter, Sudowoodo, and Voltorb. Those who are luckier than the rest of the players may also get a chance to encounter Shiny versions of Croagunk and Sudowoodo.

Apart from the Pokemon mentioned above, Stunfisk will also be making its debut in Pokemon GO. Stunfisk is known as the Trap Pokemon and players will have the ability to catch one. However, the chances of encountering one in the wild are very low, but that doesn’t mean trainers can’t catch one for their Pokedex. It will be available as a reward encounter for completing a Field Research Task along with some other Pokemon. Throughout the event, players will be able to complete exclusive Field Research tasks that will reward them with encounters with a Sudowoodo, Stunfisk, or Croagunk.

All The Field Research Tasks During Tricky Event

The Tricky event will run from 1 April to 7 April, and these event-specific Field Research tasks will only be available during this time. However, players can claim the rewards even after the event ends, but they need to complete the tasks during the event, though. Here are all the Field Research tasks available during the event.

Earn 3 Candy while walking your Buddy Pokemon. (Reward: Stunfisk encounter)

Catch 3 Ditto. (Reward: Croagunk encounter)

Feed your Buddy a Berry. (Reward: Sudowoodo encounter)

How to Catch Stunfisk

Luckily, all of the Field Research task mentioned above are quite self-explanatory so players shouldn’t have any problems completing any of these tasks. However, those who are only interested in catching Stunfisk can forego other tasks and focus on the one that rewards them with a Stunfisk encounter. In order to catch Stunfisk, players need to earn 3 Candies while walking their buddy Pokemon, which is not hard at all.

Once the task is completed, players can claim their reward and get the opportunity to catch a Stunfisk. Best of all, Pokemon GO has adapted to the current lockdown situation worldwide, so all of the Field Research tasks can be completed right from home and players don’t have to venture outside of their homes.
