The Tricky Pokemon Timed Research Task is coming to Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how they can complete it and every reward that comes along with it. Pokemon Go is hosting its April Fools event beginning on April 1st. During this time period, players will be able to encounter wild Aipom, Crogunk, Purrloin, and potentially run into a Ditto. Not only that, but players will also be able to encounter a Shadow Zapdos by defeating Giovanni in a battle. This is a great way to capture this legendary bird Pokemon if you’ve missed out in the past. Not only that, but this event will feature a special Timed Research event. This guide will show players what they need to do to complete this task.
The Tricky Pokemon Timed Research event will begin from April 1st at 12 am local time to April 8th at 11:59 pm local time. Players will want to complete this task since the final reward is the Super Rocket Radar which will allow players to hunt down and defeat Giovanni. The important part about this event is that once it is done, it will not make a return in the game. Players will want to complete this before the event is over. The Tricky Pokemon Timed Research Task and Rewards in Pokemon Go
As mentioned, this event will run from April 1st to April 8th. Here is what players need to do.
- Step 1/1: Defeat 6 Team GO Rocket Grunts (100 XP), Defeat a Team Go Rocket Leader 1 Time (100 XP), Catch 5 Shadow Pokemon (100 XP).
Players will be rewarded with an additional 100 Stardust, 100 XP, and Super Rocket Radar to hunt down Giovanni. This Timed Research Task shouldn’t be too difficult to complete. To hunt down Team Go Rocket members. Just head out into the world and find the miscolored PokeStops and battle them. This challenge can be done in a single day if players truly want to.
Pokemon Go will continue to provide new challenges for its players throughout the month of April. Outside of the Community Days, Spotlight Hours, and other seasonal events happening in Spring, there are still a handful of surprises that have been yet to be revealed. Make sure to complete this task before April 8th to collect all of the rewards. Timed Research Tasks are amongst the best inclusions in the game.
