The release window for Gen 4 in Pokemon GO still remains a mystery, but the metagamers are always looking ahead to the future. With that in mind, some players have started to strategize where they are spending their valuable Stardust with Gen 4 Legendary Raid bosses in mind.
Trainers may still be battling the Regi-bosses in Pokemon GO, but Gen 4 Raids could be right around the corner this fall or winter. There will obviously be some new strong Pokemon to put to use once Gen 4 is out, but many creatures from Gen 1-3 will still be incredibly important to the metagame. For players who have the Stardust to spare, powering up the best of those Gen 1-3 Pokemon is a smart move.

That should be way more than enough options to blow through however much Stardust you are ready to part with before Gen 4 arrives. There is likely still a decent amount of time left before the launch, so don’t worry if you’re feel unprepared. Also keep in mind that these Raid Bosses won’t all arrive at once, so there is even more time to prepare in the coming year.
Check back for more detailed and specific guides as each set of new raid bosses arrives in the future. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
