Now that Pokemon Let’s Go has been out for more than a week, many players are completing the core game and powering up their party with the most impressive Pokemon and moves available in the Kanto region. To accomplish this task, trainers will need to know how and where to obtain and use Mega Stones to trigger Mega Evolutions during battle.
There’s a fairly lengthly list of Mega Evolutions available for the creatures in Pokemon Let’s Go and many of them can make the major difference in a difficult battle. To get started, here’s a list of every Pokemon in Let’s Go that can have a Mega Evolution…
Aerodactyl
Alakakazam
Beedril
Blastoise
Charizard
Gengar
Gyarados
Kangaskhan
Mewtwo
Pidgeot
Pinsir
Slowbro
Venusaur
The first step to unlocking Mega Stones is reaching Viridian City’s gym. After that, trainers should return to Professor Oak in Pallet Town to receive Mega Evolution stones for the final forms of the original three Gen 1 starters. More stones will be unlocked later in the game, as players defeat the Elite Four, and trainers will be able to purchase these for 30,000 if they have the cash to spare.
Here’s a list of where each stone is available for purchase once they unlock…
Aerodactylite – Vendor in Indigo Plateau
Alakazite – Vendor in Indigo Plateau
Beedrillite – Vendor in Indigo Plateau
