Opposing teams are about to crumble because Pokémon fans now have an easier time finding Rock-types in a new Pokémon Masters event.

From now until August 24th, players can receive eggs that contain the Gen 1 Pokémon Aerodactyl, Kabuto, Geodude, and Onix. According to Nintendo Soup, Rock-type trainers Olivia and Kukui (who both have Lycanroc) can also be scouted as sync pairs at a higher rate than usual. Where’s the love for Brock!?

Kukui is a professor that you meet in Pokémon Sun and Moon from the Alola region, but he would still be useful in your team as he once was a trainer back in the day. He actually participated in the Indigo League and made it all the way to Lance, one of the toughest Elite Four members in the series. Maybe we’ll see his alter-ego “The Masked Royal” with Incineroar in a future update. Olivia’s also from Pokemon Sun & Moon and is the Kahuna of Akala Island.

Pokémon Masters is a pretty big deal on mobile if you haven’t checked it out already. During its first 4 days of release, it hit 10 million downloads on iOS and Android (via Venture Beat) and pulled in $33 million of revenue in its first month.

Despite the attention it has received, the game doesn’t play like a traditional installment in the series. While playing Pokémon Masters, you recruit trainers and gym leaders from all over the world. To succeed in the tournament, they group up with you in a 3v3 format. Type differentials still matter and each Pokémon has two moves at their disposal; they can heal others in the team or attack their opponents with a move. Once enough time has passed, the trainer can use a special move that deals a significant amount of damage or gives other team members a big boost. For a mobile game, it’s a good distraction for an hour or two.

The Pokémon Company will be continuing their mobile releases with Pokemon Unite, a promising MOBA based on the beloved pocket monsters. When the character levels up in the game, they actually evolve, which completely makes sense for the franchise the game is based on. It will be released on iOS, Android, and the Nintendo Switch.
