Pokemon Quest What Are the Best Pokemon in the Game

In Pokemon Quest, players select a team of three Pokemon to take out on expeditions, where they battle it out with other Pokemon and collect loot. In turn, this loot can be used to make Pokemon even more powerful, or used to cook recipes that attract new Pokemon to the player’s base camp.

Having the best team possible in Pokemon Quest is important for players to maximize their time with the game and be the most successful on expeditions. Because of this, it’s important that players know the best Pokemon to recruit to their team.

Below is a list of the best Pokemon in Pokemon Quest, based on their stats, and the recipes players need to cook to catch them or their starter forms. For a list of recipes in Pokemon Quest, please click here.

  • Alakazam (cook Brain Food a la Cube)

  • Lapras (cook Mouth Watering Dip a la Cube)

These seven Pokemon are definitely the best Pokemon players can recruit in Pokemon Quest (not counting legendary Pokemon), but it’s worth pointing out that many of them will take awhile to obtain. All evolved Pokemon in Pokemon Quest must be earned by leveling their previous forms to the appropriate levels. For example, Dragonite may be a powerhouse, but first players will have to get Dratini, then level Dratini all the way to level 30 to evolve it into Dragonair, and then level Dragonair to 55 to get Dragonite.

Because of this, some players may be more interested in Pokemon that are powerful and can be obtained early on. Out of the previously listed Pokemon, Snorlax and Lapras fit the bill. However, other powerful creatures players can be obtained early on and won’t require players to evolve their Pokemon, like the ones listed right here:

  • Aerodactyl (cook Light-as-Air Casserole a la Cube or Stone Soup a la Cube)
  • Onix (cook Stone Soup a la Cube)
  • Pinsir (cook Honey a la Cube)
  • Scyther (cook Honey a la Cube or Light-as-Air Casserole a la Cube)

Once players have lured the most powerful Pokemon to their base camp in Pokemon Quest, they will need to equip them with stones to improve their stats even further and make them an even stronger force to be reckoned with while out on expeditions. Luckily, players will earn plenty of stones just by going out on expeditions and defeating enemy Pokemon, so that shouldn’t be too difficult.

Pokemon Quest is out now for Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch.
