Pokemon has officially confirmed its crossover with Oreo by releasing a trailer made entirely out of the iconic cookies.

The Pokemon Company has been teaming up with just about everybody to celebrate the franchise turning 25 this year, not to mention the extensive slate of games it has released with more still to come. Dress shirts, reprinted Pokemon cards, even a song featuring Katy Perry have all been a part of the celebrations this year. You can now add Oreos to that list.

Oreo teased that it would be teaming up with Pokemon for a tasty collab over the summer, and now that crossover has been confirmed. A trailer that starts on a close-up of an Oreo and zooms out to show a scene made entirely out of hundreds of the cookies confirmed the upcoming crossover. It shows a trainer trying to catch a Pikachu, ending the chase by seemingly turning the electric mouse into an Oreo rather than trapping it in a Pokeball.

The trainer proudly holds up their Oreo, complete with an image of Pikachu on it. The trailer then zooms back out at which point you can hear the trainer saying that they only have 15 more left to find, revealing that 16 different Pokemon will take Oreo form. It has also been revealed that some of the cookies will be harder to find than others.

The other Pokemon Oreos are hard to make out in the trailer, and it’s not clear whether Oreo will reveal a full list of which ones have made the cut. You may not know until you find all 16 of them yourself. This announcement comes in the same week as Krispy Kreme revealed a range of Pokemon doughnuts. Four different Pokemon can be found in Krispy Kreme right now, but only if you live in Australia.

Some non-edible Pokemon news to make headlines this week was the announcement that Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle is finally coming to Netflix. The 23rd Pokemon movie was released in Japan last year, but the international version hasn’t been released. It will debut on the streaming service on October 8, and Sword and Shield players can get some limited edition Pokemon to celebrate its arrival.
