Pokimane’s latest on-stream blunder might just be her worst. During Friday’s stream, the Twitch star stepped away from her PC to grab a bottle of water—leaving her account information visible to thousands of viewers in the process.
The 24-year-old streamer was gearing up for what would be—in the entirety of her expansive streaming career—her first run-in with the Call of Duty franchise. Pokimane has been almost exclusively streaming Valorant gameplay for the last few weeks but decided to mix things up with a first for both her and her fans. “And the thing is, I don’t even watch Call of Duty,” she chirps while downloading Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. “So, it’ll be fun.”

Not even two weeks ago, Pokimane made headlines for accidentally sharing a pornographic thumbnail image during her stream. Not long before that, she was baited by her audience into opening a NSFW video. Whether through link-sharing or streamer negligence, inappropriate content finding its way on stream is simply a fact of life. The frequency at which Pokimane finds herself the center of these controversies, however, is slightly concerning.
Hopefully, an inbox inundated with emails will give her the push she needs to be more vigilant when it comes to clicking on suspicious links or taking extended water breaks in the future.
