This week, Amazon Prime Video is adding a long-anticipated adaptation of a romance novel, as well as providing new episodes of two ongoing TV shows. While there are a lot of studios that are pushing longer wait times between their movies being released in theaters and coming to streaming, that is not true of all of them. There are still plenty of new movies that audiences do not have to wait too long to be able to view from the comfort of their own home, and Amazon Prime Video is making sure to add fresh content every week.

Last week, Amazon Prime Video added It: Chapter Two, a sequel horror movie based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. They also added the first four episodes of the brand new TV series I Know What You Did Last Summer. The show is an Amazon Original TV show based on the wider franchise of the same name. They also added two older movies: Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart’s Central Intelligence, and Guillermo del Toro’s gothic romance Crimson Peak.

Amazon Prime Video’s monthly release schedule means that its releases are spread out throughout the full week rather than all coming on one particular day. This content regularly includes movies that are making their first appearance on streaming, TV series, and older movies that are making their debut on Amazon’s streaming service. Here’s everything that is coming to Amazon Prime Video during the week of October 18.

The fourth film in the series, an adaptation of After Ever Happy, is already in production.
