Rainbow Six Siege’s next Operation is officially called Crimson Heist, and Ubisoft will be offering a full reveal on February 21. For now, there’s a new reveal trailer that gives a better look at an upcoming operator named Flores.

The reveal trailer is brief but seems to confirm that Flores’ special ability will be some form of explosive, as the mysterious operator can be seen messing with a drone before a massive explosion occurs off-camera. As far as gadgets go, an explosive drone seems like a pretty powerful weapon – expect to learn more about its utility this weekend.

Ubisoft is keeping much of Crimson Heist under wraps until February 21, but did reveal a bit more about Flores and his background. His full name is Santiago “Flores” Lucero and he hails from Buenos Aires. As for his personality, here’s what Ubisoft had to say about him:

“In general, I’d say he’s a good mate,” wrote Ubisoft, speaking as Siege operator Gridlock. “A bit awkward, but he listens when others speak, which is more than I can say for a lot of people. Every night he calls home to talk to his husband, but he’s very private about their relationship (with me at least). He cares about people in general, but his marriage is on another level. Even when he takes off his ring, it never leaves his person.”

Rainbow Six Siege recently passed the 70 million player mark, having added 15 million new accounts in 2020 alone. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot is impressed with the game’s “robust growth,” and doesn’t think it will slow any time soon. Ubisoft as a whole is also putting up record numbers, driven largely by Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

In other Rainbow Six news, Quarantine is still expected to see a name change, although Parasite won’t be the subtitle. Recently unearthed images on the PlayStation Network were confirmed to be legit, although Ubisoft said they don’t relate to Quarantine’s new moniker.
