If you’re in need of a new gaming rig, or any other gaming gear for that matter, Las Vegas should probably be your next destination. This past weekend, globally recognized gaming lifestyle brand, Razer, opened the doors to its largest retail store in the heart of Sin City.
The opening of the RazerStore Las Vegas (LV) marks the company’s second store in the United States that is open to the public, with its other residing in San Fransisco. The store’s location can be found at The LINQ Promenade, which is easy to find thanks to its being the site of the world’s tallest observation wheel, known as the High Roller, amongst plenty of other delights that Vegas is commonly known for.
“It was totally natural for us to build our next retail presence in Las Vegas, where so many of our fans would be able to experience and enjoy our entire gaming ecosystem,” stated Global Director of RazerStores, Christine Cherel, in a press release.
Touted as a “2,400-square-foot gaming hangout,” the space spans the range of two different floors, centered around a massive HD wall display broadcasting interactive live streams and gaming tournaments for all to enjoy. Each floor features different Razer-branded experiences, such as designated places to live stream from, as well as head-to-head gaming tournaments utilizing PCs, consoles, and even mobile devices. Of course, let’s not forget the amount of temptation that visitors will have for purchasing the latest and greatest products that Razer has to offer.
Razer is synonymous with the world of esports, so it was an easy decision for the company to set up shop in the “city best known for sports and entertainment.” In fact, guests will be able to truly take in all that the world of esports has to offer, thanks to the RazerStore LV – in collaboration with its partners and The LINQ Promenade – organizing weekly esports and gaming events.
As the popularity of esports continues to rise, the RazerStore LV will only help in that endeavor, not only creating a place for gamers to flock to while taking in the sights and sounds of Las Vegas, but by also allowing the unfamiliar to learn a little about esports and experience it in an interactive and immersive manner.
