NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore’s relationship has always been complicated. The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s stars’ feud has had plenty of ups and downs. It is obvious the two women will never see eye to eye, so here’s a rundown of their complicated relationship.

The “gone with the wind fabulous” Moore who was a former Miss USA joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta on season five. The beauty queen’s in-your-face attitude often clashes with the other ladies. Neither of the two women is faultless, however, because Leakes has caused her own share of the drama on the show. Fans have lost track at exactly what moment the two women became enemies. Their contentious relationship has been going on for seasons, but true fans will remember that the two alpha women were friends at one point in time. After joining the cast during season 5, Leakes and Moore bonded over a shared love for the world of acting. Leakes had just landed a gig on The New Normal and Moore had done plenty of guest spots on popular shows. Fans will also recall that Leakes mediated the tension between Porsha Williams and Moore where at the reunion Moore pushed Williams to her breaking point which ended in a physical confrontation.

The original rift came about after Leakes decided to invite Moore’s ex-boyfriend, Walter, to her wedding, completely disregarding Moore’s feelings. Fans watched as season 6 premiered and Moore had refused to go to Leakes’ wedding even though Leakes claimed her husband, Greg, had invited him. As the season 6 reunion aired Leakes accused Moore of dating made up men for a storyline on the show. For the next couple of seasons, the two women laid low and focused on new foes. Leakes turned to hate Kim Zolciak, in which Moore actually stood up for her frenemy Leakes at one point in the argument. Season 11 came along with some pretty harsh comments from Leakes about the state of Moore’s pregnant body. She was caught on cameras asking if Moore was having a “buffalo.” This statement did not sit well with Moore and the two continued their fight over social media. Moore just recently posted to Instagram a photo of receipts with a caption that fans assume is about Leakes, the caption promises fans that “the truth about all of these fake friendships will be exposed” during the reunion show. Check out the shady Instagram post below:

Currently on the newest season fans have watches as Leakes continuously claimed that she had tried extending olive branches to Moore, with Moore unwilling to accept them. In last week’s episode, Moore thanked everyone on the Greece trip for their support except for Leakes who then got up and left the table. This past Sunday showed Leakes at her threshold as she finally called out Moore after a day at the vineyards. In a preview for next week’s episode, it showed Leakes spitting at Moore and calling her a bully.

It seems that these friends turned enemies will never be back to what they were before. It seems that these two women’s relationship is too far gone to salvage. However, some fans have hope that they will be able to put their differences aside and get back to where they were at the beginning.
