The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador can’t seem to stop comparing her new man, John Janssen, to her ex-husband and their divorce. Shannon has had to fight an uphill battle with her ex, but it seems to have left her damaged.
The women of Orange County have always been known for their outrageous fights and often public battles. Beador in particular, has been known to lose control of her emotions and often be cold to the new girl in town. This season Beador has had to fly solo since the departure of Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge, but fans thought there might be a glimmer of hope since she was in a new relationship.
Bravo fans watched Wednesday’s new episode as Beador and Janssen finally were able to reunite after three weeks apart. The two had a sit-down talk about how they had been arguing since Beador is often reactive instead of proactive. The mother of three made it clear that she was still working on the shortcomings she had faced with David Beador.
In a sobering statement, Beador told Janssen, “In my marriage with David, I was very reactive. I’ve been working on it, but it’s still a struggle sometimes.” Fans have not been able to see but were aware of multiple off-camera fights with the couple since the other women had also been dragged into the drama. Fans thought the COVID-19 separation was a ruse so they could take a break from one another. Beador laid it all out on the table, saying, “I’m not going to lie. I mean, it’s been, like, what, five months of quarantine? And if I look back on that time, I think that I was completely overrun by fear. I drank a lot and I’m not proud of certain things that I did, like. I would take things out on you. And so I feel, I’m embarrassed and I feel bad for the way that I treated you.” Luckily for Beador, it seems Janseen is still smitten as he told her, “I don’t tire of Shannon. I love you.”
This season has not been the most exciting and ratings are proving it. With the loss of two out of the three Amigas, the fun level has just not been the same. The Braunwyn Windham Burke show has taken over, and Kelly Dodd is still as mean and careless as ever.
