Good news for Bravo fans! Sources say The Real Housewives of Miami has already begun the casting process. Fans of the franchise will be more than excited to see this series back on TV, as many thought Miami was gone too soon.

The series aired from 2011 to 2013 for only three seasons. Some notable names from the franchise that fans still remember from this day are Lea Black, Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, just to name a few. The show even had some iconic moments that fans still rave about still to this day. Bravo has yet to announce if any of the former housewives will be coming back, but it seems as though newcomers will be joining the scene. In the meantime, fans will be waiting with bated breath until the new season airs.

According to Entertainment Tonight, an insider has revealed that RHOM will be coming back and Bravo is already interviewing potential cast members for the revival. While the series was only on air for three seasons, RHOM left quite the impression on fans leading them to call for the return of the iconic franchise. The show originally followed the personal and professional lives, as well as the drama of Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Larsa Pippen, Cristy Rice, Lisa Hochstein and Joanna Krupa, among others for its short tenure. Bravo has yet to announce if any of the women who appeared on the series in the past will return for the revival, but it does not sound likely. When Bravo was asked to comment on the return of RHOM, they declined to comment.

When RHOM ended in 2013, Bravo never officially canceled the series, but rather simply ceasing production for the time being. In November 2020, Andy Cohen admitted he wanted to bring back of the iconic series and was in talks with the streaming service, Peacock, to possibly revive it for a season four. “I have really been trying to get Peacock to pick up Miami,” the talk show host said during an episode of the Everything Iconic podcast with Danny Pellegrino. “I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this … I have to say the fans of Miami are still very vocal, and so I’ve been an advocate for Peacock bringing back Miami.” Andy revealed that the reason the show took a pause after season three was due to the decline in ratings. “The ratings were declining as it went on and they went down for the reunion, which is usually the opposite of what happens,” he said. “I think that went into the decision to not pick it up.”

No word on when the fourth season of RHOM will return as Bravo has just begun its casting process. Hopefully, they will have their cast picked out soon and start filming by the beginning of summer. It is safe to say fans will be more than happy to add another Housewives franchise to their docket.
