The men of The Real Housewives of New Jersey got together for a poker night while the women were away. But Margaret Joseph’s husband, Joe Benigno, decided to add fuel to the fire when the topic of Jackie’s marriage was brought up.
Even though the women were away, the men decided to play. Bravo fans watched as Joe Gorga spearheaded a night out with the boys after his sister, Teresa Giudice, had pranked him. The guest list consisted of Benigno, Frank Catania, and Billy Aydin. One husband was notably missing as Evan RSVPd no to the festivities. After the first show was downed and the men figured out Aydin was a champ at eating wasabi, the boys got down to business trying to right the world.
Dolores Catania’s ex-husband Frank brought up the rumor that was heard around Boonton regarding Jackie and Evan. Teresa had made it known that she had heard a story that the dad of four was cheating on his wife. Even though Frank was eight tequila shots in, it did not stop him from asking for clarification of the rumor. Joe B. was the first to speak, saying he had no concrete details but had also heard a rumor that Evan had found a girlfriend, solidifying the claim that Teresa made. When the rest of the men asked if he would reveal his sources, all Joe B. would say was, “To be quite honest with you, at any given point during the day, there’s 10 girls in my house and none of them talk quietly.”
This revelation led many Bravo viewers to feel that if the statement was true, Margaret would also know more than she is letting on, especially because she lives in the same town as Jackie. Even Joe G. commented that he was no detective, but something didn’t add up. The four men did agree on one thing; no one believed Evan had been unfaithful to his wife.
Throughout the rest of the episode, the women wasted their entire vacation trying to convince Teresa that she was wrong for bringing up the rumors at Goldschneider’s birthday party. But instead of taking responsibility, she blew up over dinner and stormed off. Eventually, the rest of the women just rolled their eyes and agreed Jackie would have to let the argument go for everyone to move on.
