The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Robyn Dixon is pleased by how season 6 turned out, calling it a “breath of fresh air” after season 5 and its toxic fighting between the ladies. After tensions ran extremely high, thanks to the epic barn battle, viewers were worried that the show wouldn’t be the same.
The 41-year-old mother of two is currently in a slump as a result of the coronavirus. In the premiere episode, Juan Dixon and Robyn open up about her depression, which caused her to feel overwhelmed. Juan called her out in front of the cameras, telling viewers she was sleeping too late and it was a turn-off to him. Fans have watched the couple lived an unorthodox lifestyle. Once married and divorced, the duo is looking to make a brand new start without listening to the haters. Robyn has always been a fan favorite, and this season is set to be a good one for her if she can get herself on schedule and stop feeding her children fast food.
Robyn took the time to speak to Page Six, saying, “I’m excited to just really move forward from the previous season.” The 75-minute premiere brought the heat for Bravo fans who loved that the tea was already being spilled. As most fans know, last season was extremely toxic, and many viewers wanted to see the women move forward from the epic battle that included Candiace Dillard Bassett and Monique Samuels.
In her interview, Robyn shared that the women came into the new season with an open mind as they tried to “move forward.” The former basketball wife revealed that getting ready to be in front of cameras again was no easy feat saying that the Potomac housewives did not want to repeat the past. Even though season 5 left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, the women were “open to just creating something new.”
Season 6 hit it out of the park as it was revealed that Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger were on the outs after a ten-year friendship. Wendy Osefo also stepped up her game with a new look and advice for not trusting the women. Ashley Darby was ready to pop with baby number two, and there was a new face in the bunch. As for Robyn, her wedding is still on hold as she and Juan build their new dream house together.
