Halloween has arrived for League of Legends players, who patiently wait every year for Riot to fork out the candy into the online multiplayer’s annual Tales from the Rift event. The themed event to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve will welcome three new skins for specific champions, as teased on Twitter.

The League of Legends Twitter account shared a sneak peek at the champions sporting their spooky skins in a PBE preview from the upcoming festivities. The teaser showcased an in-game snippet of Amumu, Elise, and Fizz, who are the chosen champions to carry the Halloween mantle this year. Splash art for both Amumu and Fizz have already been revealed to exhibit their party costumes, with Fizz being the last to debut.

Pumpkin Prince Amumu scuttles about with a top-heavy Jack-o’-lantern for a head that still retains his cute qualities. Bewitching Elise carries all the charms, spells, and purple aesthetic of a true witch, with her arachnids still on hand to do the dirty work. Lastly, Little Devil Fizz can be seen in the teaser with a red hot pitchfork wearing the classic devil costume, who some have said looks like a mashup of Fizz and Teemo.

The Halloween skins are currently in testing on the PBE, but they are expected to majestically appear in the Rift with patch 10.22. Players responded to the teaser as one army of disgruntled fans who didn’t receive a Halloween skin for their favorite champion. Love was sent Riot’s way for Amumu, however, whose adorable demeanor extinguished any fires. Other League of Legends fans praised the PvE modes present in the annual event scheduled to liven the Halloween festivities – however, the teaser thread on Twitter quickly became flooded with crying gifs over Quinn’s absence.

Last year’s Halloween skins brought Blitzcrank, Miss Fortune, and Kassadin into the moonlight, which all seemed a little too heavy on the purple compared with this year’s diversity. The five new Odyssey champions Aatrox, Kha’Zix, Sivir, Twisted Fate, and Karma are also expected to enter the Rift with patch 10.22.

The League of Legends patch 10.22 is scheduled to arrive on October 28.
