A Batman: Arkham Knight fan edit showcases how great Robert Pattinson’s The Batman suit would look if adapted into a DLC skin for the 2015 game. That the two worlds match together so well hardly comes as a surprise since the Arkham games appear to have inspired Pattinson’s Batsuit design. As many have noted in the past, the chestplate on the new movie suit especially seems modeled after the Batsuit featured in Batman: Arkham Knight.

Arkham Knight allows players to dress the Caped Crusader in myriad Batsuits from across the vigilante’s 80-plus year history, including a classic first appearance skin that comes complete with purple gloves. Of course, various suits from other mediums made the cut, too, with the Adam West, Christian Bale, and Ben Affleck Batsuits all entering the mix at one point or another. With the Matt Reeves-directed The Batman film just a few months out from release, players have begun to wonder how well Pattinson’s suit would translate to the interactive experience.

Digital artist and Twitter user Freezelizard recently created an edit that brings Robert Pattinson’s Batsuit to world of the Arkhamverse, specifically Batman: Arkham Knight. The image in question depicts the Pattinson suit design as an Arkham Knight DLC costume, with the appropriate background key art and an attention to detail that looks unbelievably convincing. See the artist’s impressive effort on display in the following tweet:

If nothing, the above fan creation further hints at the notion that Pattinson’s suit design took inspiration from the garb Batman wears in Batman: Arkham Knight. It’s doubtful that this particular movie suit will ever see the light of day in-game, though. Rocksteady Studios moved on from supporting Arkham Knight with fresh content long ago and currently has its hands full with its next big outing, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The final entry in Rocksteady’s Batman Arkham trilogy, Arkham Knight set hundreds of criminals loose in Gotham City for a night of chaos that trumped any challenge Batman previously faced in the series. Members of the Bat’s rogues gallery such as Scarecrow, Professor Pyg, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn ran amok while the character simultaneously confronted his greatest failure. A certain cackling voice in the Dark Knight’s head upped the ante considerably, making the franchise’s epic conclusion that much more special of an event.
