Christine Brown from Sister Wives talked about moving back to Utah for some time, but fans had trouble believing that she would actually sell her Arizona home. In August, fans began speculating that Christine was selling her home, after pictures of the house surfaced on a real estate website. At that point, the third wife was possibly still deciding whether to sell, as her house was later listed again. Fans now know that she has left Kody.
Christine grew up in a polygamist household where she was taught to become a great wife. She and Kody married in 1994. under the assumption that she would be his last sister-wife. As TLC followers know, Kody then met his fourth wife Robyn Brown in 2010. The entire dynamic of the Brown family shifted, and the changes left Christine questioning her position in the family. As the seasons continued, Christine confessed that her 40s were tough. The reality star definitely had her fair share of low points. She wasn’t the only wife who had issues, though, as three out of the four wives have openly questioned their relationship with Kody. However, so far, Christine is the only one who’s decided to throw in the towel.
Even though her relationship wasn’t perfect, Christine found ways to cope, including putting her Flagstaff home on the market. Her house was once again listed at Realtor.com. In 2018, she bought the home for $520,000. In a shocking turn of events, the house sold on October 8 for $700,000, after being listed for $725,000. Sister Wives fans doubted that the star wanted to sell her home, but it’s now clear that she was serious. Christine’s stylish French doors, which she added to make the home more appealing, may have done the trick.
Christine had her house on the market earlier this year, but an offer to purchase fell through. During the last season of Sister Wives, Christine shared her wish to move back to Utah since polygamy laws had been relaxed. Sadly, Kody and her three sister wives shot her plan down. Robyn was the most vocal, claiming that she didn’t want to uproot her children again. As she explained that she felt she didn’t matter to Kody anymore, Christine burst into tears.
The new Sister Wives season is right around the corner, and hopefully, the new season will share if Kody and the other three wives have started to break ground on Coyote Pass. It’s possible that the cracks in their family’s foundation have caused too much damage. TLC network has shared that the family is going through some serious turbulence. A preview clip showed Christine and Janelle Brown questioning Kody’s rules surrounding COVID-19. The Browns are at their wit’s end, and fans already know that Christine decided to leave her plural marriage for good.
