Skyrim modders have been adding to and improving the game constantly over the course of its many, many releases, but one thing you always lack when out adventuring is some proper grub. There’s only so much nutritional value you can get out of a raw piece of skeever meat, and who wants to be stood over a hot stove cooking when you could be out adventuring instead? Certainly not me. That’s where hrodeberht1 and bella’s new mod (discovered by PCGamesN) comes in.

Burger Jarl is a mod that places a brand-new eatery in Skyrim, right next to Broken Fang Cave in Whiterun Hold. The restaurant is manned by Thorsteinn Burger-Flipper and offers players a selection of fast food that would make any Dovahkiin’s mouth water. The menu includes classic fast-food staples such as Breton Fries and Chicken Nuggets, while a couple of other items have a unique Skyrim twist on them, including the Milk-Drinker Shake and the Big Jarl, an Elder Scrolls take on the classic Big Mac.

If you’re more of a grab-and-go type of fast-food enjoyer, you’ll be pleased to know that Burger Jarl also features a handy ride-thru that features the same items. Instead of being served by Thorsteinn, you’ll be served by Eugene the crab, complete with his own set of voice lines. Probably not the most hygienic way to get your food, but convenient nonetheless.

If you’d like to download the Burger Jarl mod and get some tasty treats for yourself, you can head over to Nexus Mods and download it there. Best of all, this mod is compatible with the game’s survival mode, so you could theoretically sustain yourself on fast food throughout your entire time in Skyrim, something which I do on a regular basis anyway.

If you’re thinking that this is the most ridiculous mod you’ve ever seen in Skyrim, you’ve definitely not been paying attention to the game’s modding scene. Just a couple of weeks ago a mod released that yassifies Skyrim’s hard-working courier, and if you don’t know what that means then I envy you. Another mod that was popular last year was the “grow your own companion” mod which allowed players to buy seeds from Arcadia’s Cauldron to grow their own small army.
