Kristin Cavallari made another trip to Charleston over the weekend to meet up with Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll. The pair were first spotted out together in late 2020 when Austen and fellow costar Craig Conover went to Nashville to spend some time with Kristin and her good pal and hairstylist, Justin Anderson. Fans began to think they were an item, but both Austen and Kristin denied the claims. Despite denying any type of romantic relationship, fans aren’t buying it.

Before rumors of a relationship between Austen and Kristin began, she was spotted on several occasions kissing comedian Jeff Dye. However, their relationship seemed more causal, as they have been spotted out together despite a rumored breakup. Nonetheless, the former The Hills star and Austen remained in close contact. In fact, Kristin was even a guest on Austen’s podcast, where they spoke about the drama between Kristin, Austen’s ex Madison LeCroy, and Jay Cutler. Now, it seems the relationship may be more romantic than it was before.

On Sunday, Kristin shared a photo of herself on Instagram with Austen and Craig, as well as mutual friend Steph Biegel, who is the host of the Well/Behaved podcast. The friends posed outside of Leon’s Oyster Shop with their arms wrapped around each other. The fashion designer wrote in the caption, “Charmed I’m sure.” A source close to Us Weekly revealed Kristin and Austen were at the restaurant for a while with the podcast host before Craig joined them. Kristin’s Instagram stories included a number of photos with the 33-year-old, as well as one of the group stopping by Craig’s home decor shop, Sewing Down South. Even though Austen and Kristin’s rumored relationship made headlines, so did the relationship between their exes.

Madison LeCroy was in the news for courting Kristin’s ex-husband, Jay Culter, shortly after Kristin started hanging out with Austen. The 30-year-old even went on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, where she divulged very little information on the budding romance. However, just a few weeks later, Madison took to social media to share some alleged texts between her and the former NFL player. Madison also took to Instagram to deny Austen and Kristin were even an item back in December. Austen’s flirty comments on Kristin’s profile caused quite the stir and were posted to CommentsByCelebs. She weighed in, writing, “Trust me if he was with her, he wouldn’t be sending me songs at midnight. bless.”

Even though Kristin and Austen have spent time together on more than one occasion, there isn’t definitive proof of a romantic relationship. However, the friends have been traveling from Nashville to Charleston to see each other in the middle of a pandemic, so there is a possibility they could want something more. Hopefully, fans will get to see the potential of Kristin and Austen’s budding relationship on season eight of Southern Charm.
