We’ve got new details on the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III DLC, Re Mind.

It’s been almost a year since Kingdom Hearts III released. We gave it a good review, and it looks like our opinion was shared by the millions of folks who also picked up the game. They’ve been patiently waiting for KH3’s first paid DLC, Re Mind, which was announced last February. We found out the name “Re Mind” in April, as well as a bit of what that DLC will contain, thanks to a leak on social media. Now we’re learning more details straight from the source.

Square Enix now has an info page up about Re Mind that tells us what to expect. Re Mind will first add a new scenario that will take place during the climactic scene just before the final battle at the Keyblade Graveyard.

According to a helpful translation from Gematsu, “Sora follows the hearts of the Seven Guardians of Light and experiences each Guardian’s battle.”

From the April leak, we found out that Re Mind will contain two episodes called Limit Cut and Secret. Limit Cut will have “high difficulty battles against the 13 members of the Real Organization XIII,” as well as the added ability to change between playable characters such as Riku, Aqua, Roxas, and Kairi. Some of those battles will also allow the cooperative activation of skills with other party members, which sounds nifty.

The Secret Episode wasn’t detailed, but there were other sections that revealed several new functions including a Greeting Mode, Slideshow Function, and Premium Menu. Those details will have to wait until Square Enix gets around to updating the website.

We know that Re Mind will also coincide with the release of some free content as well, including a new Keyblade and a new Form. Pricing for Re Mind remains unknown at this time.

Kingdom Hearts III: Re Mind arrives first on PlayStation 4 on January 23, 2020, with the Xbox One release coming a month later on February 25th.
