The first five seasons of Suits are very highly rated but after an underwhelming sixth season, the USA Network Original went on a downward spiral, failing to live up to the expectations of the fans.

With Michael Ross out of prison and now, officially, a member of the New York Bar Associatifor, he returns to work for Pearson Specter Litt, which means Harvey Specter and Mike will again be side-by-side doing what they do best. But, there are enemies of the firm who just cannot see Harvey happy. Without further ado, let’s rank every episode from the seventh outing of Suits, according to IMDb.

10 “Hard Truths” (8.2)

In the eleventh episode of season 7, Harvey and Louis have to find a way to keep their firm afloat as Jessica Pearson is about to be disbarred, which means they will have to rename the firm following the law. With Jessica’s existence gone from the firm, Alex suggests Mike should be made the Senior Partner but Donna thinks he isn’t ready. Moreover, Harvey suffers a setback in his relationship with Paula.

9 “The Statue” (8.3)

In the second episode of season 7, Harvey, now the Managing Partner, takes a leaf out of Jessica’s book as he drops an old client for a new one. But in order to do that, he must get Alex Williams, a former colleague, to join the firm as a Senior Partner, which Donna and Louis disapprove of. While Donna is simply thinking about the firm, Louis is terrified of losing Harvey, the friend, to Alex. Also, Harvey makes inroads when it comes to Paula.

8 “Home To Roost” (8.4)

In the sixth episode of season 7, a familiar face from Mike’s past, namely Frank Gallo, comes up as Mike and Oliver have some business with him. Of course, Harvey doesn’t know about that business, which means he’ll be furious with Mike whenever he finds out. Also, Rachel has to cover for Mike by lying to Harvey, which she doesn’t like. Meanwhile, Harvey tries to tell Donna about his relationship with Paula.

7 “Pulling The Goalie” (8.4)

In the fourteenth episode of season 7, Mike and Harvey work together, just like old times, over a cause close to their hearts. The judge who saw Mike’s fraud trial, Sandra Ralls, finds herself in a spot of bother and so she enlists the help of Specter Litt.

Elsewhere, Donna and Rachel must find a way to keep David Fox at bay who’s issued a 90-day ultimatum for Specter Litt to evict the premises.

6 “Full Disclosure” (8.5)

In the seventh episode of season 7, a flashback scene gives the viewers certain details about how Harvey and Alex know each other. And the events of the past have led Alex to a precarious situation in the present, which involves covering up a murder. Now, Harvey owes Alex a favor, so he must find a way to let this go. But with Mike fishing in the waters, Harvey would find it hard to convince him to let this go.

5 “Tiny Violin” (8.5)

In the penultimate episode of season 7, some of Specter Litt’s former employees come after the firm with a lawsuit that could see the firm bleed out loads of money. Harvey and Louis work together to protect their firm, while Mike concerns himself with the clinic. Meanwhile, Jessica returns to New York and asks Harvey for help after she finds himself in a precarious position.

4 “Inevitable” (8.6)

In the thirteenth episode of season 7, Paul and Donna have a fierce confrontation and the topic of discussion is none other than Harvey.

Paula is insecure about her relationship with Harvey because of Donna’s presence, which means Harvey should either fire her from the firm or find a way to leave Paula. It’s decision time for the Managing Partner of Specter Litt, one which he would rather not make.

3 “Skin In The Game” (8.7)

In the first episode of season 7, Louis is struggling after his break up with Tara. And with new associates incoming, Rachel thinks it would be better if she manages them until Louis finds some closure. Donna wants a seat at the table, meaning she wants to be a Senior Partner but Harvey isn’t quite ready to give her that. Elsewhere, Mike gives the clinic half a million dollars but Oliver, his former colleague, is really upset with Mike returning to Pearson Specter Litt.

2 “100” (8.7)

In the eighth episode of season 7, Harvey convinces Robert Zane to take up the prison case, while working on the details of absolving Alex from his past wrongdoings. Frank Gallo is murdered inside the prison but before it happened, Zane was able to record his confession. In the light of the events, Harvey accused Reform Corps of putting a hit on Gallo, and by using this piece of information, he, somehow, makes Tommy Bratton sign a document, which gives Alex a walk.

1 “Donna” (9.0)

In the tenth episode of season 7 of the show, as the title suggests, it is all about Donna Paulsen and her story with Harvey. Andrew Malik smells blood and he’s after everything Harvey stands for. So, he pulls the rabbit out of the hat and asks Donna one question, under oath, she didn’t want to answer. With their back against the walls, Louis, Mike, and Harvey must come up with something to get rid of Malik but everything comes at a cost.
