Hannah Berner from Summer House decided it would be a fun, practical joke to post a false pregnancy announcement on her Instagram. The reality star is known for her over-the-top humor and definitely caught some fans off guard. Now, many are warning her of the potential backlash.
Berner has had an unpleasant summer, thanks to her imaginary relationship with Luke Gulbranson and her misunderstandings with Kyle Cook. Fans watched in shock as Gulbranson walked into the house with a new woman, but Ciara Miller turned out to be a real girls girl in the end. The drama with Cook was just heating up when Berner was uninvited from his wedding. Now, the funny girl is finding it hard to find her place within the house.
Bravo fans did a double-take when they saw Berner’s recent fake pregnancy photo, as she posed precariously while cradling her belly. The former tennis player began her Instagram post insinuating she could possibly be pregnant, writing, “Proud to announce I’m still bloated from emotionally eating in my bed all summer!!!!” But instead of a bundle of joy, it looks like she is just bloated.

Not all fans found humor in what they believed was an insensitive joke with one fan writing, “Not ok and triggering for so many people going through infertility.” Some warned the newly engaged Berner that she was about to get a lot of backlash. But Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute found the humor in it all, writing that she was “due” at the same time.
Berner recently just announced that she was engaged to fellow comedian Des Bishop. Fans are finally going to get their first glimpse of Bishop on this week’s episode. The couple fell in love via FaceTime, but Berner revealed she hadn’t given him the time of day because she didn’t know what was happening with Gulbranson. The relationship has been a whirlwind as they got engaged this past Valentine’s Day, only eight months after meeting, but the comedian is happy. The rest of the season is bound to be enjoyable as we watch Berner defend herself against the boys who feel that the house is not tidy enough.
