Super Mario Maker 2 has been a huge success for the Nintendo Switch and the fans have already uploaded more than five million courses for other players to try out.
Super Mario Maker 2 was released on June 28 to positive reviews, with many critics praising the new additions to the game. The new multiplayer mode turned out to be a disappointment, due to how poorly it worked on most occasions, but the single-player creation mode was as beloved as it was in the original game.
The official Nintendo of America Twitter page has uploaded a message of thanks from the creators of Super Mario Maker 2, as more than five million courses have been uploaded for other players to try.
Super Mario Maker 2 has been out for under two months but there have already been some stellar levels created for the game, such as one that mimics the first-person interface of old PC games, while others have told dark stories about Mario’s guilt over slaying a goomba. There have also been lots of comedy stages, such as one based on the Steamed Hams scene from The Simpsons, while fast-food chains have also uploaded their own stages. Super Mario Maker 2 offers the player the chance to make stages that are creative enough to impress people around the world, as well as brutally difficult levels that can challenge even the most hardcore of Kaizo addicts.
Super Mario Maker 2 has the advantage of being sold on a popular system, even though making stages on the Nintendo Wii U’s GamePad was a lot simpler than needing to mess around with the touchscreen on the Nintendo Switch when it’s in portable mode.
