Leah is one of the most popular teen moms as she shares her life raising three daughters with fans. In recent months she has been linked back to her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert. This is not the first time the two have been linked since their divorce was finalized in 2015. Back in September 2019, Messer confessed that she and Calvert had sex when they both were in New York City for the Teen Mom 2 reunion. The young mom said that the two continued to hit it off and could not fight the attraction between one another.
The reality star spoke to People about her upcoming book release that is set to be on shelves May 5th. The MTV personality titled her memoir Hope, Grace, & Faith. The book is set to shock her fans she writes about never released information such as an incident that took place during season 4. The mother of three had told fans and the production crew that she had suffered a miscarriage when in all reality she had chosen to get an abortion. The abortion took place eight years ago, but Leah felt it was time to own her truth.
The West Virginia native opened about having a problem with low self-esteem and how she saw herself. The 28-year-old explained that her close family and friends had encouraged her to lie and say she had a miscarriage, even her mother, Dawn. Leah was questioning whether she should have a child with her fiancé Jeremy at the time. The two later had a daughter together. Leah explained to the outlet that she had actually started to convince herself that she had indeed had a miscarriage. For fans, what actually happened seemed to be a miscarriage of justice. The MTV show is based on the young girls’ true stories as there are many other girls out there in the same position. Many feel it would have been nice for the MTV star to be honest from the start so she could have maybe helped others.
Fans already know that Leah is a mother to twins, Aliannah and Aleeah, who are ten-years-old and Adalynn who is 7-years-old. She has been on the hit show since 2010 as cameras follower her divorce from Corey Simms. The also followed her divorce from her second husband, Jeremy. Even though she may have hidden the truth for almost ten years from both her family and Teen Mom 2 fans, Leah is ready to take control and become empowered by her truth.
