Here’s where you can get your very own Magmis in the world of Temtem.
In case you were wondering, Temtem is a brand new MMORPG that puts you in control of tiny little monsters with magic powers who then battle other tiny monsters for your amusement. If this sounds exactly like Pokémon to you, then congratulations! You got it in one.
Temtem is a Pokémon clone with a few differences. First, it’s not called Pokémon, although the mechanics, presentation, and plot are almost entirely the same as the original Pokémon games. Second, those little magic monsters are called Temtem and not Pokémon. Now you’re all caught up.
The game is actually a lot more popular the developers were expecting, so there have been long waits just to log on until Wednesday morning’s update. Now that those issues are largely resolved, you can head out and start taming Temtem to be your own personal companions.
If you’re looking for Magmis, one of the earliest featured Temtem over on the game’s Twitter account, then you’ve come to the right place. Here’s where you can find one.
Magmis Location
First, head on over to the island of Omninesia and then head to Anak Volcano. You should encounter plenty of Magmis around here at varying levels. As a Fire-type, Magmis is weak to Earth and Water, so if you’re using either of those moves against one make sure they’re not too powerful, otherwise your Magmis will get knocked out.
How To Evolve Magmis Into Matstione
Magmis evolved form, Mastione, is a significant upgrade. First, Mastione gets significantly more Attack, Defense, and Speed, but it also gets a much bigger dorsal fin and some actual arms instead of tiny little nubbins.
Evolution works a little differently in Temtem. Rather than evolving at specific levels, Temtem only evolves after you’ve leveled them up a certain number of times after taming. In Magmis’ case, you must level them up 16 times in order for them to evolve into Mastione.
Mastione can also be rarely encountered at Anak Volcano, but be careful! Mastione’s are typically in the mid-20s in terms of level, so they’re not exactly an easy Temtem to tame.
