The Best Assassins Creed Valhalla Flyting Rap Battle

When not out raiding, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla allows players to participate in some epic Flyting battles, but which one reigns supreme? From fishing to drinking competitions, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has its fair share of side content for players who want a break from the brutality of battle. One of the most engaging activities in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is flyting. Flyting is essentially a rap battle in which competitors attempt to insult each other in rhyme while catering to their own ego.

In each flyting battle in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the NPC goes first. To win, players must choose the option which best matches their competitor’s rhythm before time runs out. Players must also consider the content of their competitor’s insult. Eivor won’t win any rap battles by ignoring a slight to his or her intelligence and insulting the NPC’s appearance instead. The content of the jibes should match.

Not only is flyting a fun way to pass the time, winning a flyting match increases Eivor’s charisma. Charisma comes in handy when players wish to persuade a character without resorting to combat or thievery. There are sixteen flyting battles in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in which players participate. Even Thor and the Allfather himself battle it out in Asgard. But which of these Viking-style rap battles in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has the best mic drop?

Valhalla’s Flyting Battle Against Hogg Is The Best

While each of these rap battles has its charm, the flyting against Hogg the Burly in Oxeneforda lets Eivor dish out the best insults. When Hogg refers to himself as a dragon, Eivor can compare him to a fly. In the second round, Hogg claims his strength would scare off a bear, to which Eivor can reply, “You’re possessed of a baldness that’s scared off your hair.” In the final round, Eivor can compare Hogg’s intellect to that of a donkey. Eivor manages to insult Hogg’s might, intelligence, and appearance in this battle, thoroughly destroying the competition.

Of course, other flytings aren’t without merit. The flyting battle in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla against Stigr The Amorous is full of flirtation and can even lead to an intimate moment if the player desires. Certain flytings, such as the one against Fergal the Faceless, add a bit of comic relief to an otherwise serious game. Borghild, The Alewife’s Bane, will only compete against Eivor if they’re both intoxicated, leading to some of Eivor’s less eloquent, though humorous, lines. Each flyting battle in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is worth playing between the charisma bonus and imaginative insults. When else will player’s get a chance to call Thor a fool of a God?
