Sledgehammer Games Claims Not Showing Activision’s Logo During Vanguard Reveal Was A “Creative Choice”

Recently, the Call of Duty: Vanguard reveal trailer was released. However, it was clear right away that Activision was noticeably entirely absent from the video. Considering Activision has been under fire for allegations of sexual harassment and a toxic “frat boy work culture,” many people figured that leaving Activision out of the trailer was intentional. However, according to VGC, Sledgehammer Games has responded to this by saying, “Call of Duty has continued to expand into an incredible universe of experiences. This was a creative choice that reflects how Vanguard represents the next major installment in the franchise.”

VidCon 2021 Canceled Amid Rise In COVID Cases

VidCon 2021 was set to take place on October 22 through 24, but it has now been canceled for the second year in a row. Covid cases in California, where the event was set to take place, have reached the highest out of anywhere in the U.S., with 4.3 million cases total since the pandemic began. VidCon 2022 is set to take place at the Anaheim Convention Center on June 22 through 25, so you at least have that to look forward to for the time being.

Flight Simulator Germany, Austria, And Switzerland Update Delayed

The big World Update Six coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator has been delayed until September 7. Though this isn’t a substantial delay, fans will have to wait longer to get the makeovers of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In a blog post, one of the developers explains that this delay was decided upon “in order to ensure that World Update 6 reaches a very high level of quality.” In addition to the location makeovers, World Update Six will be bringing new photogrammetry cities, four hand-crafted airports, nearly 100 POIs and new discovery flights, landing challenges, bush trips, and more.

The Next Halo Infinite Technical Preview Will Have Big Team Battle And 4v4

In a recent development update video released by 343 Industries, we found out that Halo Infinite’s campaign will not feature co-op mode or Forge. Additionally, some insight was shared on the reasons for making the stress test exclusive to fighting bots. The team needed more information on how players would interact with the bots, and they also got a better idea on how many players the servers could handle with PvP. The last bit of notable news we got from the video is that the next test, which has no set date currently, will include PvP and Big Team Battle, and it will also retain Bot Arena and Academy Weapon Drills.

Bethesda Hires Head Writer Of Fallout London Mod

Fallout London first came out in June, and it was easily one of the most popular mods for the game. Bethesda was clearly impressed, as they’ve just hired the mod’s lead writer. Stephanie Zachariadis is now working as an associate quest designer at Bethesda, though we do not know which game she is working on now.
