EA is “Not Certain” If It Will Move Forward With The FIFA Name

When it comes to video games, many people now associate ‘FIFA’ with the football game. You know the one – it comes out every year and is basically guaranteed to sell pretty well. But EA has been having problems from FIFA, the football governing body, over the rights to use this trademarked name. It seems the two parties remain at loggerheads and it appears EA might be fine with not using FIFA any longer in their branding. It is kind of hard to imagine saying “let’s play FIFA” when it will no longer be the official name of EA’s football game, but we might have to get used to it in the future.

GTA Trilogy Seemingly Has An Unfinished VR Mode

The GTA Trilogy – Definitive Edition hasn’t been so definitive, what with many, many players unhappy with the state of the game. It’s pretty justified considering the number of glitches and bugs in the game. But players have also managed to find something pretty interesting in the game’s code. RockstarINTEL head editor Ben Walker has discovered a quirk that suggests either a first-person mode or it even might be an unfinished VR feature. Now, how cool would walking around sunny Vice City in VR be?

Battlefield 2042 Is Now The Eighth Worst Reviewed Game On Steam

A few days since it launched, DICE’s latest version of Battlefield has been beset by issues. The series is known for big maps and many players, but unfortunately it also seems to be becoming known for launch problems. Battlefield 2042 has seen its reviews rating plumment after players are airing their concerns over a host of performance and server issues. Here’s hoping the developer fixes it up pronto!

Star Citizen Has Now Raised $400 Million And It’s Still Not Fully Out

Star Citizen is somewhat infamous for missing its development milestones and seems to be in a perpetual, perhaps eternal(?) alpha state. But the game, which is also known for selling in-game content such as ships, has passed a milestone. It has managed to raise $400 million. Now that’s a chunk of change!

Arcane Season 2 Confirmed By Netflix And Riot Games

Arcane has been well received. We think it has great art, style, likable and engaging characters, an engaging story, and kinetic action sequences. Riot Games and Netflix are happy to continue and develop further the multiple characters, who will be well known to League of Legends players, as season two of the Arcane has been confirmed.
