EA is “Not Certain” If It Will Move Forward With The FIFA Name

When it comes to video games, many people now associate ‘FIFA’ with the football game. You know the one – it comes out every year and is basically guaranteed to sell pretty well. But EA has been having problems from FIFA, the football governing body, over the rights to use this trademarked name. It seems the two parties remain at loggerheads and it appears EA might be fine with not using FIFA any longer in their branding. It is kind of hard to imagine saying “let’s play FIFA” when it will no longer be the official name of EA’s football game, but we might have to get used to it in the future.
