Weston “Wes” Bergmann is back to the competition for The Challenge: Double Agents, which premiered on December 9. The two-time champ is one of the most familiar faces in the franchise, but there is still more for both old and new fans to discover about the cocky yet lovable redheaded competitor.

The 36-year-old Kansas native first debuted on MTV in 2005’s The Real World: Austin. He immediately made his presence known on The Challenge after he made the final on his first season, Fresh Meat. Wes was known for more than just his competitive skills, as his cocky frat guy persona made him the kind of competitor people loved to hate. However, his persona has evolved over his 14 seasons of competition, as well as 3 seasons of spin-off shows. After overcoming major rivalries with fellow players Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio and Chris “CT” Tamburello, Wes has cemented his spot as one of the most well-known vets.

He currently has 2 final wins and 25 daily wins under his belt and stands 14-8 in eliminations, which has earned him $303,000. When it comes to his personal earnings, Bustle lists him as the startup investor in BetaBlox following his memorable Rivals II rant to Bananas. Wes infamously told his once-rival, “What do you have? I have a BMW, a Porsche, a house, a monster truck, and 30 companies.” Though the exact nature of his claims can’t be verified, Wes does appear to be doing well for himself.

The television personality is currently involved in other online ventures outside of MTV. Wes’ Instagram bio provides links to his Cameo, where he offers personalized video shoutout services, and his two Patreon accounts that fans can subscribe to. In addition to episode recaps of The Challenge, he runs the show Friends and Benefits. It chronicles Wes and his friends, which often include fellow The Challenge competitors, as they hang out and perform community service acts during quarantine.

Wes also has a well-documented personal life. Fans of the franchise may have followed his past on-screen relationships with fellow competitors such as Johanna, KellyAnne and Mandi. However, Wes is now happily married to his yoga teacher wife, Amanda. The couple has been together for the past nine years and tied the knot in June 2018. They share an adorable St. Bernard dog, Bootstrap, who Wes loves to post on his social media.

When it comes to his performance on The Challenge, Wes is a master at politicking, as well as a skilled athlete and swimmer. He also shows a penchant for tackling difficult daily challenges and outsmarting his competitors. However, though he has made five finals and won two of them during the show’s regular seasons, Wes also has been one of the first players eliminated on multiple occasions. Therefore, viewers will have to tune into The Challenge: Double Agents to see how he fares in the upcoming season.
