Fans of Netflix reality shows have been eagerly awaiting The Circle season 3, and the streaming service has finally dropped release dates for the new episodes. After two beloved US seasons were released on Netflix, the wait is almost over as a new group of hopeful influencers compete on the international reality TV phenomenon, The Circle. From its premiere date to the rollout of the rest of the season, here’s everything that fans need to know about The Circle season 3 schedule.
The release of The Circle seasons 1 and 2 had a longer gap between each other due to the COVID-19 pandemic adding unforeseen complications to the production of the series. The Circle season 1 came out on January 1, 2020 and was released in three parts. The first four episodes dropped on Netflix during New Year’s Day. A week later, two more episodes came out, until the final batch of The Circle season 1 was released on January 15. Even though The Circle fans were spoiled with a surplus of episodes in the span of only three weeks, their patience was put to the test as season 2 took longer than expected. The first chunk of The Circle season 2 episodes finally arrived on April 14, 2021. Overall, was released in four batches of episodes throughout April, until the finale episode dropped on May 5.
Due to the substantial space in between the first two seasons of The Circle, fans might have anticipated a longer intermission between seasons 2 and 3. Fortunately, Netflix hasn’t wasted any time churning out more content for subscribers. The Circle season 3 will be released in four batches, starting on Wednesday, September 8. Along with the season premiere, episodes 2, 3, and 4 will be available for fans to stream on Netflix on the 8th. Meanwhile, episodes 5, 6, 7, and 8 will be released a week later on Wednesday, September 15. On September 22, the next batch of four episodes will be posted on the streaming service. Last but not least, The Circle season 3 finale will be released on Wednesday, September 29. Even though The Circle season 2 featured a reunion, it’s currently unclear whether viewers can expect a reunion special for season 3.
A cast of eight brand-new contestants will compete to win The Circle season 3. Just like with previous seasons, fans can expect deception, flirting, and alliances from this cast. Whether a player is rewarded the $100,000 grand prize for their honesty or makes it to the top as a fraudulent catfish is still to be determined. Meanwhile, Motion Content Group and Studio Lambert, the studios behind The Circle, confirmed that the Netflix series will return for seasons 4 and 5. Interestingly enough, Netflix reported that The Circle season 2 was viewed in 14 million homes within the first month of the season.
