What Are Secret Teams?
Secret teams often called “Special Edit” teams, are custom teams based on particular themes. Some of these themes are pretty trivial, such as Team Buff Bods. However, other secret teams require knowledge of KOF lore, such as Team Legendary Heroes. So, in a sense, each secret team is a riddle to discover.
However, once you figure out each secret team and beat the game with them in Story Mode, you will unlock bonus endings and additional BGM from the DJ Station!
