The Pokemon 25th Anniversary party is going strong, but now Pokemon will have to share the spotlight with your beloved pets. RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage will lend her keen eye to the new Pokemon Presents Super Pet Contest, an event inspired by the Super Contest Shows featured in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, for your real-life Pokemon pals.

Think your furry, scaley, or feathered friend has what it takes to compete? Then you’ve got until November 9 to submit their application. Unfortunately, the judging criteria has already revealed a few early thoughts The Pokemon Company may have about your little buddies, as the official contest categories leave out a lot of conditions you may remember from earlier games. So, no, TPC does not think your Cocker Spaniel is tough or beautiful.

Animal lovers and Pokemon fans from the U.S., France, Germany, and the UK can send pictures of their pets for consideration in three categories of their choosing: CLEVER, CUTE, and COOL. New photos will be displayed daily, and you can vote for your favorite pet photos up to ten times a day. The more love you give the contestants’ animal friends on the contest site and social media, the more it’ll help judges pick the best in show.

The Pokemon Company also recruited the help of Michelle Visage, who will join the event as Trainer Michelle. With over 30 years of experience bringing glitz and glam to her music and TV shows, especially notable for her work as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, she has been brought on to evaluate competing critters for their clever showmanship, cute styles, and cool looks.

“Our house is full of Pokémon fans and animal lovers—including our two dogs, Romeo and Daisy—so this event is such a fun way to celebrate the joy that animal companions bring to families all over the world,” Visage said. “I can’t wait to see all of the amazing animals that people are lucky enough to call their friends, so it’s going to be really hard to choose the winners!”

There are prizes up for grabs in each category of the super Pet Contest, including Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl Dual Packs, and Nintendo Switch Lite Dialga and Palkia Editions, among other goodies. The winners will be announced on November 16 during the Winners’ Ceremony on Pokemon’s official YouTube channel.
