Whether people have taken a break for a few years and then come back, they were let go after a single season, or they felt it was time after a decade or so, fans are constantly saying goodbye to housewives.

It’s definitely true that not everyone on this Bravo franchise brings the drama. Read on to find out five former cast members on The Real Housewives that fans want back, along with five that can stay gone.

10 Fans Want Back: Jill Zarin

Of all the former Real Housewives Of New York who left, Jill Zarin might be the one who fans think about the most since she showed up in a recent episode after the tragic death of her husband, Bobby.

Fans wouldn’t mind seeing Jill return since she’s funny, considers herself a “connector” who loves being social, and her family life with her daughter, Ally, was always sweet to watch.

9 Stay Gone: Gretchen Rossi

Many have a problem with Gretchen Rossi, and even more people have an issue with her husband, Slade Smiley. He’s not a very popular person with Real Housewives fans, and with his money and legal battles, no one is really sure what the truth is.

Back in the day, Gretchen was good pals with Tamra Judge, and she was a really enjoyable cast member to watch. But it seemed like she changed quite a lot, and it didn’t feel like she belonged on the show anymore.

8 Fans Want Back: Heather Dubrow

Heather Dubrow was on The Real Housewives Of Orange County from Season 7 until 11. She was loud, opinionated, and stood up for herself — the perfect reality TV personality.

It was always fun to watch Heather live her fancy lifestyle that she shares with her husband, Terry, and their many children. Whether they were building a massive new house (even calling it a “mansion” wouldn’t do it justice) or trying to keep the passion in their marriage alive, fans were into it. Heather has been missed a lot, and it would be great if she returned.

7 Stay Gone: Meghan King Edmonds

Meghan King Edmonds was on RHOC for a total of three seasons, and she definitely left an impact. She fought with so many of the women that it was confusing to figure out who she was actually friends with.

When she showed up in an episode of the latest season, it felt pretty awkward, like she was just inserting herself into the show again. She’s not someone who fans would want to see return as she didn’t always have a lot of her own dramatic or compelling storylines.

6 Fans Want Back: Bethenny Frankel

Is there a Real Housewives Of New York without Bethenny Frankel? Sure, the show did exist without her as she was on the first three seasons and then came back for Season 7 until 11.

She won’t be on the show any longer, and has a new reality series coming up called The Big Shot With Bethenny, which will be available for streaming on HBO Max. Like Vicki and Tamra, it’s tough to think about the show continuing on without such an iconic and well-liked cast member. Bethenny is so frank and funny, and she’ll be missed.

5 Stay Gone: Adrienne Maloof

Adrienne Maloof was a cast member back in the early days of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (Season 1 to 3, to be exact). She isn’t super memorable, and a lot of her screen time was about her marriage to her now ex-husband, Paul. They didn’t seem to get along and it wasn’t a surprise when they got divorced.

Fans think that Adrienne could stay gone as there have been much bolder and more colorful personalities on the series since her appearance.

4 Fans Want Back: Tamra Judge

Since news broke that Tamra Judge wouldn’t be coming back to RHOC, fans have been sad as she has been on the show for such a long time. After 12 years, it’s so weird to imagine it without her.

Tamra has said that she was told to go because she wanted to be paid more and that she has some personal stuff she needs to focus on. Whatever the reason, fans are going to miss seeing Tamra hang out with Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador, since they call themselves “The Three Amigos.”

3 Stay Gone: Carlton Gebbia

Carlton Gebbia was on the fourth season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, and she didn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the women. Sometimes a new cast member just doesn’t work, and that was the case here.

Fans didn’t know a lot about her since she was on the show for such a brief period of time. Alas, she wasn’t that popular, and it makes sense that she was gone after one season.

2 Fans Want Back: Vicki Gunvalson

It’s really hard to picture The Real Housewives Of Orange County without Vicki Gunvalson. In Season 14, she was considered a “friend” which was weird because she was there from the very first episode. If this was a fictional drama, she would be considered the main character. Since this is a reality show, let’s say she was the OG Housewife.

Vicki has announced that she’s no longer going to be on the show, and she’s definitely a cast member that fans would want to see come back. Sure, she has a tendency to yell a lot and fight with the other women…but that’s why people watch. It won’t feel the same without her.

1 Stay Gone: Kelly Killoren Bensimon

Kelly Killoren Bensimon was on RHONY in Seasons 2 to 4, and her battles with Bethenny Frankel were pretty crazy. No one would ever be able to forget the infamous episode featuring Kelly, known as “Scary Island.”

Kelly wasn’t very polite to anyone, including Bethenny, even saying “I’m up here and you’re down here” to her when they met for drinks one evening. It’s safe to say that no one really misses her, and that she only brought memorable negative moments to the show.
