10 Lisa Suggested Yolanda Wasn’t Really Sick

Yolanda is an RHOBH cast member who left too soon, and her final season followed her struggles with Lyme Disease. In the season 6 episode “The M Word,” RHOBH fans heard the word “Munchausen” and this led to an incredibly dramatic batch of episodes. Lisa read the definition of the word to Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards, which didn’t go over very well. In what was the most intense RHOBH scene ever filmed, the cast had dinner in Amsterdam in season 5 and Lisa broke a glass on the restaurant table. She was mad that Kim suggested that there was a rumor going around about Lisa’s husband Harry Hamlin, and Lisa told her not to mention her husband.

Of all of Lisa’s surprising decisions, this is definitely up there, as she could have simply left the restaurant and took a walk to calm down, or gone back to the hotel. Tensions were high and it made sense that she was upset, but this wasn’t the best behavior, especially since there were other people dining at the restaurant.

8 Lisa Asked Dorit About Her Dinner Party

The cast went to Hong Kong in season 7 and Lisa made the surprising choice to ask Dorit Kemsley a question that she had been thinking about. Lisa asked if Dorit’s party guests were doing coke in her bathroom and Dorit asked, “Are you suggesting that I got up from the dinner table and went to do drugs?”

Lisa’s words left Dorit hurt and wondering why Lisa would make such an accusation, and before too long, everyone was upset and in a bad mood. Even if Lisa thought this is what happened at Dorit’s house, there was really no reason to bring it up, as Lisa could likely tell it was going to lead to an argument.

7 Lisa Didn’t Like How Yolanda Displayed Her Lyme Disease

Of all the dramatic storylines on RHOBH, Lisa’s questioning of Yolanda is one of the most memorable, and it continued over season 6. The episode “Lymes In The Sand” featured a fabulous trip to Dubai and the cast talked about Yolanda. Kyle went to an event with Yolanda and explained that this would help Lisa see that Yolanda did have Lyme Disease. Lisa said she totally believed Yolanda had Lyme; she just didn’t think she was showing or talking about the disease properly.

From Lisa’s perspective, if Yolanda was sick, she shouldn’t post happy photos on social media or show up at gatherings looking great. Fans still feel awkward thinking about Lisa’s decision to say something so offensive about Yolanda. There was no reason not to believe Yolanda and Lisa could have offered her love and compassion.

6 Lisa Suggested That Kim Wasn’t Actually Sober Anymore

Season 7 was a tough one for Lisa and Kim. It was clear that they would never be friends, but instead of admitting that they rubbed each other the wrong way and moving on while being civil and polite, Lisa said that maybe Kim wasn’t completely sober.

While Lisa wasn’t the only one who believed this, as her co-star Eden Sassoon is an alcoholic who discussed the subject with her, it was still the wrong path for Lisa to go down. Lisa didn’t go, and while viewers can understand not wanting to do something, it seemed like attending would have been the right move here. Lisa could have gone for a few hours and it would have likely meant a lot to Teddi, even if she said that there were no hurt feelings either way.

The fight in Amsterdam went on for a long time while Kim and Lisa’s co-stars looked on. Lisa brought up Kim getting arrested in 2015 for alleged shoplifting, which viewers had heard about.

Lisa was definitely in the wrong here, as it wasn’t her place to hurt Kim’s feelings by mentioning a tough time in her life. When Lisa Vanderpump called it “a low blow,” fans agreed and wished that Kim and Lisa would stop fighting. After such a dramatic season, it was surprising for Lisa to bring up Denise’s social media activity, and Lisa could have ignored this whole subject entirely. Fans like watching the Real Housewives reunions to see the cast explain a big fight or intense situation, so it would have been better if Lisa stuck to the events of the season.
