Caroline and Klaus’s love story started in The Vampire Diaries and continued in the final season of The Originals. Although Klaus’s death prevented “Klaroline” from getting the fairytale ending fans hoped for, their romance and relationship development will be adored by viewers for years to come.

Caroline was the only person who was able to get through to Klaus during his time in Mystic Falls, and she continued to see the good in him when no one else did.
