Crafting Oils
True to their canonical use, specialized oils are used as blade coatings to increase your sword’s damage. Each specialized oil enhances the damage dealt to that particular classification of monster by 100%. Buying Oils
If you’re short on materials but have an immediate need, you can purchase every blade oil in the in-game alchemy shop. Here’s a list of what a stack of 3 blade coatings will run you respectively:
To access the in-game shop, simply select the coin purse icon in the bottom right of the overworld screen. You’ll be greeted with the daily deals, which often consist of starter bundles and some significant sales on a rotating stock of explosives, oils, and or brews. You can also search for specific items by flipping to the Alchemy tab on this page. Here you can scroll through The Witcher Monster Slayer’s entire selection of Potions, Oils, and Bombs.
