The identities of the Pokémon that will be returning to the Galar region in The Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword & Shield may have been revealed by a fan online.

Pokémon Sword & Shield came under fire before launch when it was revealed that they wouldn’t feature every Pokémon from the history of the series. The Galar region is missing several hundred Pokémon, including some of the Generation 1 Pokémon that have been in the series since the days of Pokémon Red & Blue. Game Freak later revealed that around two hundred Pokémon would be returning alongside DLC updates, with over a hundred added in the Isle of Armor and over a hundred more coming in The Crown Tundra.

We know the identity of some of the returning Pokémon in The Crown Tundra, as they have been featured in trailers for the game, but a fan on Twitter believes they have worked out the full list. A Twitter user named abcboy has discovered that some Pokémon have their Pokédex entries within the files of the game that were deleted by Game Freak. These include Pokémon that are confirmed to be coming back. The entries for the other Pokémon have been left blank, indicating that they won’t be returning.
