Rocket Lineups Have Changed

As part of the “With Light Comes Shadow…” portion of the Festival of Lights, Team Go Rocket Grunts and team leaders will now have some different Shadow Pokemon in their lineups. Most notably Arlo, Sierra, and Cliff now have Shadow Gligar, Shadow Nidoran ♀, and Shadow Grimer, respectively. All of these can be shiny when caught.

If you manage to track down Giovanni and defeat him, you’ll be able to rescue Shadow Lugia. Sadly, its design is like every other Shadow Pokemon in Pokemon Go with the purple smoke rather than its Shadow design from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.

Reminders

Mega Houndoom CP boost: For all of November, Mega Houndoom will enjoy a CP boost. Niantic has not yet announced if these boosts will become a standard feature after the Season of Mischief, so Mega Houndoom may be the last.

Monday bundles: Don’t forget that a bundle will be for sale in the shop every Monday for 1 Poke Coin. Each week, the bundle will contain a few supplies as well as a Remote Raid Pass.

Misunderstood Mischief: The Season of Mischief is ending soon. If you complete the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research in time, you’ll unlock a new questline at the end of the month. If you don’t manage to complete the first set in time, you’ll be able to purchase a ticket for the second set at $5 or your local currency equivalent.
