Users can just tap the ‘Share’ button and then ‘Save Video,’ as long as the creator hasn’t disabled video downloads.

TikTok, of course, began its life as the lip-syncing app Musical.ly, via which people would share videos of them singing and dancing along to well-known songs. That meant the app had a library of tracks for users to choose from and the same applies to TikTok — users can browse the sounds library for tracks to accompany their videos. This greater focus on the audio element compared to other video platforms means that tracks are, in themselves, part of the experience. They can be pulled up by tapping on their titles via the videos they feature on or from the Discovery section. As with videos, tracks can be shared by tapping on the arrow sharing icon when viewing them and selecting the required option.
TikTok’s creators are where all its great content comes from, producing videos that are amazing, funny, clever, or just downright weird. Naturally, users have their preferences about what sort of content they like to watch and, in turn, good creators can produce consistently engaging content for their audiences. As such, it’s common that users will want to share the best creators they find with friends and family. To do this, they should pull up the profile in question. There no sharing icon displayed on profiles and, instead, users should tap the hamburger menu button that looks like three vertically-stacked dots. This will bring up the sharing options.
Finally, hashtags are a large part of what makes TikTok tick. They represent trends that come and go on the platform, which users can scroll through to watch how others have responded, or add to their own response videos to get involved. Hashtags can be accessed by tapping on them in a video’s description or via the Discovery section. Their pages look much the same as those for sounds and they can be shared in the same way by tapping the sharing arrow and selecting the required method.
