When Too Hot To Handle season 1 premiered during the spring of 2020, it took a different approach to the regular dating show format. Even though the viewers had never seen this type of concept before, that doesn’t mean that they liked everything about the show. Nonetheless, the show has been picked up for a second season, which is scheduled to premiere on June 23 on Netflix.

While Too Hot To Handle did get a second season, there are a few changes that the fans think that the show could make. With this concept never been seen before, it was all new to the viewers. While some thought of Too Hot To Handle as a hit series, some of season 1 was also a miss. So as the show moves forward with its upcoming second and third season, it’s never too late to make changes for longtime fans and new viewers to enjoy it. If certain new changes are made, it could leave audiences wanting more so they’d keep tuning in. As such, here are a few changes that Too Hot To Handle could make for season two.

Fewer Contestants

When Too Hot To Handle season 1 came out, it originally introduced viewers to 10 suitors looking for love. Throughout the season, more suitors were brought into the competition, but not all of them stayed for the entire duration of the show. While season 2 is bound to do the same thing, it would be easier for viewers to keep track if fewer contestants were brought into the competition. It would also help the contestants as they wouldn’t have more temptations, so they could keep what they have left of the prize money.

Prize Money Increase

The prize money started out as $100,000 during the first season of Too Hot To Handle. But even though it started out as that amount, many rules were broken, and by the end of it, the contestants were only left with a grand total of $75,000. If the prize money was raised for season 2, it is possible that despite the many temptations, the higher prize money would make the contestants not break the rules so they could keep the money as the same amount they started with. In the end, the ten contestants left had the $75,000 prize split between all of them.

More Episodes

There were only a total of eight episodes (plus a virtual reunion special) on Too Hot To Handle season 1. With such few episodes and more contestants coming in halfway through the season, the viewers felt that it was hard to get to know all of the contestants and what they were like. If the show has more episodes for season 2, the fans would feel more connected with the contestants.
