Get ready to experience the universally acclaimed sounds of the Norse afterlife anytime you want. Coffee Stain Publishing and Iron Gate Studio have announced the release of Valheim’s official soundtrack. The 20-track OST features music players will immediately recognize, along with some surprises for fans. The soundtrack is available to stream now on Spotify and can be purchased through Steam.
Swedish-Australian composer Patrik Jarlestam helmed the OST that creates a wide spectrum of sound and emotion to mirror the atmosphere of the popular game. The tracks feature a variety of instruments from deep, booming percussions and bases to sweet, warm clarinets and cellos, all performed by Jarlestam along with Philippa Murphy-Haste, Jeanen Lee, and Michael H. Dixon.
The album includes the 18 original tracks from Valheim’s early access launch that will transport players back into the dreamy atmosphere of the Norse afterlife. It also includes two bonus tracks from the game’s release and cinematic trailers created by Ghostwood Empire. The official tracklist is below:

Henrik Tornqvist, the co-founder of Iron Gate, shared his happiness with the soundtrack and the work that Jarlestam created saying, “We are very proud of the soundtrack that Patrick created. It perfectly captures the spirit of Valheim and has given our community so many memories filled with atmosphere, beauty and excitement.”
CEO of Coffee Stain Publishing, Albert Safstrom, also shared his delight with the soundtrack and what it means for fans of the game. “The atmosphere of Valheim has captured the hearts of players since it launched into early access, and the soundtrack has been a major part of building such an immersive world…we hope Vikings can relive their many adventures and use the soundtrack to inspire their (lawful) exploits in real life!
