The WayForward sale was announced through the company’s official Twitter account earlier this week. Gamers can access these discounted titles through Steam, GOG, Humble, and the Nintendo Switch store. And no rush if you’re overwhelmed by the sheer number of titles and need some time to decide, because this sale is running until March 30.
WayForward’s discounted games include titles like River City Girls, a beat ’em up brawler. River City Girls stars Kyoko or Misako, the girlfriends of Kunio and Riki (of Kunio-kun fame). After their boyfriends are kidnapped, Kyoko and Misako must save them, and set off across town to serve some justice in the form of perfectly executed kicks and punches.
Players can also check out all the titles in the celebrated Shantae series. The games star half-genie Shantae, who serves as the guardian and protector of her town. In each new game, Shantae finds herself facing up against a new evil, and must find a way to protect her home and her friends. Shantae fans won’t want to miss out on discounts on all titles in the series, including Shantae: Half-Genie Hero: Ultimate Edition (which includes all DLC content) for 30% off!
