Someone hand over the MVP award to Bachelor Nation’s favorite bartender because Wells Adams says he would take on any role ABC would offer him within the franchise. Through all the changes that the Bachelor franchise has faced within the past months, Wells has been a familiar face of comfortability that fans needed.

Former Bachelor Nation host Chris Harrison exited the franchise after receiving major backlash from fans. The outrage outpoured after insensitive racial comments were made by the 50-year-old during an interview with former Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay. Once news broke that Chris would not return to host the current season of Bachelor In Paradise, fans were happy to hear that Wells would be upgraded to a higher role. In addition to mixing up drinks for the contestants, Wells is now the “Master of Ceremonies”, where he now hosts the rose ceremonies on Bachelor In Paradise. The ABC bartender isn’t the only BIP host this season, though. Wells has been alongside rotating celebrity hosts like David Spade, Lil Jon, Tituss Burgess and Lance Bass. Although Wells’ role has expanded on BIP, former Bachelorette’s Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe have taken over as co-hosts for Katie Thurston and Michelle Young’s seasons of The Bachelorette.

In an interview with ABC, Wells said that he would happily take on more responsibilities within the Bachelor franchise. “Whatever they want me to do I’m ready to do it!” Wells said. No actual offer for a higher role has been thrown his way by ABC, but if it were to happen, the 37-year-old would be ready to take on the challenge. “If they want me to host the show, sure I’ll go do that, if they want me to be the janitor next season, OK, I’ll go do that too. Whatever you guys want,” Wells added.

Naturally, the contestants of Bachelor In Paradise confide in their favorite bartender as he whips up their favorite drinks. Through many conversations, Wells gets to know the contestants pretty well. The “Master of Ceremonies” revealed that fan-favorite “Grocery Store” Joe is just as nice in person as he is portrayed on the show. “He’s like one of the most wonderful men I’ve ever kind of come across and I’m glad he’s getting a lot of screen time,” Wells gushed.

Wells is a rarity within Bachelor Nation. He’s authentic, unproblematic and knows how to gauge situations very well. He knows how the franchise works as he was a contestant on JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette and has been the Bachelor In Paradise bartender since season 4. Hopefully ABC makes the right decision and offers Wells a full time hosting role.
