Nintendo’s controversially priced Expansion Pack goes live later today, or the early hours of Tuesday morning depending on where you are in the world.

After plenty of speculation, leaks, and rumors, Nintendo eventually revealed which consoles’ collections would be coming to NSO next last month. The Nintendo 64, as expected, and the Sega Genesis, which was a little more surprising. The build-up to the announcement had most expecting the Game Boy’s library to make the cut. That will apparently be the case sometime in the future.

The part of the announcement that didn’t sit well with a lot of nostalgic Switch owners was the bit about upping their monthly fee. The N64 and Genesis libraries are part of what Nintendo is referring to as the NSO Expansion Pack. Those upset about that reveal were angered even further when the price of the Expansion Pack was quietly revealed during the Animal Crossing Direct earlier this month.

A regular subscription with the Expansion Pack will cost you $49.99 per year, while the Family Membership is $79.99. That’s more than double the price of a regular annual subscription to NSO. If the price doesn’t bother you, and you’re still excited to play some new old games on your Switch, then today is the day you’ve been waiting for.

The Switch’s N64 and Genesis libraries arrive later today or in the early hours of tomorrow morning depending on where you are in the world. Nintendo of America has the games arriving on October 25, whereas its European and Japanese divisions are touting October 26 as the big day. That likely means the new libraries will arrive at around 10 pm EST, so 3 am in the UK and 11 am tomorrow morning in Japan. So a late night for UK Switch owners, and perhaps a day off work for those in Japan.

While the times aren’t set in stone, NSO is scheduled to be down for maintenance between 7 pm and 10 pm EST tonight, hence the assumption that the new libraries will be ready to go at 10 pm. Some of the games available once the new libraries go live include Super Mario 64, Ristar, Ecco the Dolphin, and Star Fox 64. More games will be added to both libraries in the future.
