Comedy horror fans will recognize Zoey Deutch from her role as perky apocalypse survivor Madison in Zombieland: Double Tap, but here’s which other movies and TV shows the actress has appeared in. As the daughter of Lea Thompson and director Howard Deutch, it was perhaps inevitable Zoey Deutch would embark on a career in the entertainment industry. She got her first acting gig at the tender age of 15 playing recurring character Maya Bennett in Disney Channel show The Suite Life On Deck and followed that up with a role as Juliet Martin in The CW thriller-drama Ringer.

Zoey Deutch’s first movie was the family comedy Mayor Cupcake which co-starred her mother and sister Madelyn Deutch, but her big screen breakthrough came with a supporting part as Emily Asher in the YA novel adaptation Beautiful Creatures. Deutch later nabbed her first lead in fellow YA adaptation Vampire Academy as vampire-human hybrid Rose Hathaway and appeared in a series comedy films in 2016 including Dirty Grandpa and Good Kids. That year, she also earned acclaim for her performance as Beverly – the sole female lead in director Richard Linklater’s coming-of-age college comedy Everybody Wants Some!! – and played Kate in the crime drama Vincent N Roxxy.

In 2017, Zoey Deutch made several movies that established her as a rising star. She played lead character Samantha Kingston in time loop teen drama Before I Fall and took on a biographical role as Oona O’Neill in J.D. Salinger biopic Rebel In The Rye before flexing her comedic chops in indie comedy-drama Flowers. She also had a small appearance as Bobbi in James Franco’s Tommy Wiseau biopic The Disaster Artist. Deutch also starred alongside her sister Madelyn Deutch once again in The Year Of Spectacular Men which was the directorial debut of their mother Lea Thompson.

Actor Zoey Deutch added more movies to her growing résumé in 2018 with Netflix rom-com Set It Up and comedy-dramas The Professor and Buffaloed. While film is fast proving to be Deutch’s bread and butter, the actress has returned to the small screen a few times since her debut in The Suite Life On Deck. She played Munchausen by Proxy victim Infinity Jackson in Netflix comedy The Politician and more recently had a two-episode guest voice part as Lily in the adult animated series Fairfax.

As for the future, it looks like the Zombieland: Double Tap star’s career will continue to thrive. Zoey Deutch’s next movie is upcoming crime drama The Outfit and after that she’ll star in the comedy satire Not Okay. She also has a part lined up in the recently announced body horror movie Hound.
